In this blog I am going to discuss the possible future developments of HCI.
Iholo (Phone Prototype)
The Iholo is a phone prototype which will take mobile to higher heights because it could use as a hologram which could be able to provide virtual screen in 3D for the user. the hologram would be able to provide a controller which could have a similar of a house hold console like the Xbox or PlayStation controller. This could become a thing in years to come because handheld games seem to be coming more popular because they are handy for people who do not have the time to go on to consoles and can only play one game or two, also children nowadays seem to like to play on mobile devices. Iholo would be able to be integrated into learning because they could make specific games for the schools examples of this includes learning the alphabet, learning time tables etc, Teachers might be able to make their own game to help suit each students individual needs, which would impact our everyday life because this means that we might be able to teach in more enjoyable fashion which could help more students to stay engaged in the lesson which could mean that more children enjoy school and pass exams, which would mean that people of the future would be able to get better jobs. Also the Iholo might be able to make browsing the web simple so that all ages will be able to browse the web with ease, This could bring families in the future to spend more time together or even apart, but we have to see. Iholo phone can be used in many different way the phone could be used to make lesson more entertaining the students and making sure that they enjoy the lesson but whiles they are still getting the work done because a common issue that students have nowadays is they get distracted by their phones, but with this phone the teachers may be able to teach the work on the phones and giving a test and then if they get a 75% they will be able to play a maths game that is linked to the topic they are teaching an example of this could be let's say division. The phone can be used for a multitude of different subjects. The phone can be a big change because they may be able to make more students enjoy going to school which will mean if they enjoy going to school more likely they are to pass their exams.If these phones do get get implemented in lesson, the lesson will be very different to the ways that I learnt but I think that the lessons will be more entertaining for all of the students and maybe even the teachers. Since phones nowadays are the most used device is the mobile phone for students in schools, i think that in the future it will more of the same so if it is that mean the students will love to use this phone in their lessons, this can completely change the way some students think about school.

In the future they might be robots that are able to be teachers or even personal helpers and many more things, an example of this is if a child in a lesson is finding timetables hard the robot might be able to describe and explain how to times to different numbers together. Also robots might even be able to solve problems that are brought to society that we might not notice until it is to late an example of this could be hackers because some small companies may not have the best security and the robot could have the job of checking to see if anything that is not meant to be coming through, if so they would be able to alert a member of staff. Robots could have a major impact in our everyday life because they could be use to very advanced or even very simple. this could be important because the world is getting more advanced with the technology, some of the jobs in the future might only be down by specific people and robots. Robots could also be used to help people with walking difficulties because they could be used to motivate people to do things they don't want to do. Also they might even be doctors, dentists etc, In the future Robots could be integrated in our everyday life to make basic things such as walking the dog you might be able to get a robot to do it for you. Robots are be made which may be able to take the place of teachers or even be helpers to students because some students in schools don't really like asking the teacher for help or answering questions when they are asked to, the robots could be used to make the student feel more relaxed and if the robots asked them to answer a question they though that they won't be judging them. I think that schools would be able to use robots for one on one talks and tutorials because I believe that students will find it easier to concentrate and get on with their work because robots may be able to make boring subjects in to enjoyable ones. Robots may even be able to be used to help students which may have disabilities because in some cases those people don't have many friends even that is sad to say but the robots could be used as a personal buddy to them if they need one because in schools some people aren't the most popular they may need someone to keep them happy or even motivated. Robots can be used in many different ways in schools but we with have to see if they do get implemented in different roles in schools.
Overall future development of HCI
Overall I believe that the future development of HCI will play a massive part in the future societies because they are almost endless possibilities. In the future I believe that the world is going to keep to on getting more advanced, an example of this could be protecting us from cyber-attacks in the future we might be able to use robots to counter hackers and prevent cyber-attacks, which could prevent important information being taken away from the government etc.There may be different developments of HCI in the future besides the one I am have discuss in this blog and like I have said many times the developments i have discussed above some of them have been advanced since I first wrote this blog I am going to explain one of them which is the advanced robots their was a video that was posted on YouTube which was showing of the advancement of the robots the video title was Atlas, The Next Generation which is just showing how reports are able to get themselves back up after falling down which is showing us how quickly they are processing in the robots industry. So this may show that robots being used in schools may be closer than we think. But for the other development the phone I haven't seen anything about it because it was a prototype and the phone may be in development but I am not really to sure when and how they may be finished this may be because the phone is going to provide a 3D virtual screen that which produce a hologram which may be to far in advancement to what we are at no, the closest we are at the moment virtual reality, But we will have to see.
